Beijing Olympics

Together with Director General of Beijing2008 Olympic Ceremonies Zhang Yimou and Executive Director Chen Weiya, BLN as Musical Director of the Beijing 2008 Closing Ceremony received wide acclaims for the performance, which was full of pageantry and colour. The ceremony included three distinctive sections from a celebrative atmosphere rich in colour, dynamic and full of romanticism to a memorial mood and closing with passionate songs . BLN and acclaimed German composer Klaus Badel collaborated on the music of which the highlight was the closing of the Olympic Flame. The music of the third and closing section included the song A Flame of Love performed by PLACIDO DOMINGO and SONG ZUYING.
